About

Most domains have never seen a DMARC report — not because nobody cares about email spoofing, but because the tooling to actually look tends to be either enterprise-priced or genuinely confusing to set up. dmarcvault.com is an attempt at the other option: a monitoring tool for aggregate DMARC reports, paired with a plain-language explanation of what the reports are telling you, built by one person working through the problem in the open.

The domain check is real and live today — a free, instant SPF/DMARC lookup that runs entirely in your browser. The guide and the blog cover SPF, DKIM, and DMARC in plain language — what each check verifies, how a policy rolls out from monitoring to full enforcement, and where things typically go wrong along the way. The monitoring dashboard itself — parsing your own aggregate reports and showing you what’s actually sending mail as your domain over time — is still in development.

This is a personal project, not a company, and there’s no mailing list or sales pitch behind it. If you have questions, spot something wrong, or want to know when the tool itself is ready, get in touch.
